National Night Out

National Night Out is October 3, 2023

National Night Out is a community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

Our primary focus is on the unincorporated areas of Collin County and cities that do not have their own local police department. If you reside within the city limits, we suggest reaching out to your local police department first. If they are unable to assist with your event, please feel free to send us an email.

While we enjoy participating in National Night Out, our top priority is providing quality emergency services in a timely and professional manner to the residents, employees, students, and visitors of Collin County.

Please understand that we might not be able to attend every party due to our workload, staff availability, training, and other commitments. If we do attend, we will remain on duty and park in a location that enables us to respond promptly in the event of an emergency.

Please be aware that although visits are scheduled, we may encounter delays, unexpected departures, early departures, or even have to cancel due to emergency situations. Note that not all deputies have assigned patrol cars equipped with police markings, lights, and sirens. Additionally, our patrol deputies do not have take-home patrol cars, and most of our units are being used for patrol duty during the night. Therefore, kindly consider your request carefully when submitting your form.

If your neighborhood does not have a coordinator or you need more information, email the Public Affairs Section or call (972) 547-5181 for more information.
