Subpoenas

​​​​​The Collin County Sheriff's Office does not have a single custodian for all records it maintains. The Sheriff's Office maintains various records in multiple divisions, and all records related to a single person may not be stored in a single location.

Where to Direct a Subpoena.You can expedite the process of receiving records by sending your subpoena to the specific Custodian of Records listed below.

Subpoenas are time-sensitive and must be handled expeditiously. Therefore, we do not accept subpoenas that do not have a specific custodian of record listed. Please call the Records and Warrants Section at (972) 547-5133 to verify that the required custodian of record is on duty before attempting service.
