County Clerk: Plats
The Collin County Clerk filing requirements for Plats are as follows:
- All plats filed after 3:00 pm will be accepted the following business day.
- Plat size requirement is 24x36 inches
- Plat must have one black line copy with original, legible seals and signatures. If the owner is a company, the company name must be included above the signature.
- All signatures must be notarized. Notary seal must be affixed and legible with expiration date.
- Seals must be affixed by approver of the plat, city or county, surveyor and notary.
- Tax certificates are required
- A 2x4 inch blank space on lower right corner of plat is required for recording label.
