At the time of admission, inmates are provided with a personal money account. Any cash in an inmate's possession at the time of booking is deposited into their account, along with any additional funds received while they are housed at the Collin County Detention Facility.
Funds in these accounts can be used for:
- Commissary purchases
- Telephone calls
- Self-Release (Bail)
Inmate Money Deposits

The Collin County Sheriff's Office partners with Access Corrections Secure Deposits to provide a fast, secure, and convenient way to send money to an inmate's trust fund. Funds can be deposited into an inmate's account using several secure and convenient options.
The Collin County Detention Facility does NOT accept cash, checks, or money orders by mail.

Kiosk – Located in the Collin County Detention Facility lobbies and at 800+ locations nationwide.
Phone – Call 636-888-7004 to deposit money with a live, bilingual agent.
Walk-in Retailer – Register at www.CashPayToday.com to get a barcode, then make a cash deposit at participating locations including Dollar General, Family Dollar, Kroger, CVS, and 7-Eleven.
Lockbox – Mail money orders to the Access Corrections Secure Lockbox.
